Day 2, Successful Screening

Waking up to the sound of your brother slamming the RV door isn't the most pleasant thing in the world, Tara mentioned.  Our family of Pipers were on their second day of touring, phone batteries were low, and the smell of the ocean was seeping in through the RV windows.  They had parked right by the beach. Just over a sandy dune and you saw the beautiful sight of the crashing, roaring waves.  The sand was smooth and encrusted with sea shells.      At 3:00 there was another Phoenix, Oregon showing, this time our group was hoping with crossed fingers that our movie would pull in at least a medium crowd.  At this point everything was still up in the air, their tour could either start rocketing with their showings packing the whole theater or they might not be noticed.  Everyone was hoping that well of course they would bring in a large crowd, but it was much to early to know.

Success!  Phoenix, Oregon the Movie brought in a good 70 people!  I hope you didn't miss it, but if you did don't worry after all the movie is being toured nationally around the U.S. look for it in your nearby theaters!  Speaking of, our favorite family of Pipers had just exited the The City Lights Cinema of Florence, pleased with each other for promoting the movie well enough to fill over half of the movie room.

Attempting not to get to full of themselves The Pipers held their heads high as they climbed onto the RV for the second drive of the day.  This one up to Newport, Oregon to show Phoenix, Oregon in the Newport Cinema, but that story is for another day.
