Day 1, The start of the Journey

Kim closed the door behind her as she left the house.  With a whole trip ahead of them the Pipers left their beloved home behind, as the 4 of them climbed onto the Motor Home.  The RV swayed as they pulled out of their well known driveway. With Ben driving and Daniel filming their departure on the lense of his airborne drone.  The town of Klamath Falls drifted into the distance as the tour of Phoenix, Oregon the Movie began.

They pulled into the 140 rest stop.  Just minutes after parking, they encountered their first movie fan.  The woman pulled her husband and child out of her car and the 3 of them took a quick picture in the front of the wrapped RV.  Inspired with the newly found love of the movie, The Pipers once again climbed the three steps into the chilled RV. The Asphalt road flowed under the wheels of the blue Motor Home. The trees eventually turned into a blur as the landscape drifted by.

The Piper family anticipated the coming night with curious minds. Would the movie get a good turnout? Will the audience enjoy the film? Will the jokes hit? These questions rattled their innocent minds. The tour had just begun and they all already felt the stress and excitement for the rest of the trip. Coos Bay was on the horizon for the Pipers. As the Motor Home drove down Highway five a red Chevy Volt passed them. The passenger stuck her hand out the window and gave them a sincere wave and a thumbs up. Kim the driver at the time honked the horn three times. The family was pleased to know that drivers were most definitely viewing their well designed RV.

Come lunch time the group was pretty hungry and tense from there long travels.  They pulled into a turnout alongside the Coquille River. After a few sandwiches our team was feeling quite a bit better, so good in fact that they all went for a swim in the cool green river.  When Tara jumped into the water she felt herself let go of the stress and anticipation she had been holding on to for the past 5 hours. They were all refreshed and much calmer when they climbed back into the RV.  More driving was to come, but for now The Pipers were all relaxed and ready for the rest of the day to unravel.

So just so were clear, small crowd is under 50 people, medium is 50-100, and a large crowd is greater then 100. That night, when the show came, they were all a little discouraged and disappointed to hear that they had only pulled in a small crowd. They tried not to let themselves get in there heads, after all they had the whole rest of the tour ahead of them, this was the beginning not the end.
