The Pipers were parked at one of Ben and Kim's good friends house. They were in Santa Rose, California. They had driven there after their San Francisco screening had ended. It was relaxing for them to be in a house, instead of their cramped Rv. The house had a pool and a hot tub. It was always so peaceful to sit in a hot tub in the very beginning of the day. Bridget was the owner of the house, she had 3 kids, who were all grown up, either graduating high school or college. The 3 kids were all back and living with their mom now, since it was summer vacation. The Pipers hung out around the house in the morning, they ate breakfast and did work in the cooled home.
At about 2 the Pipers headed down the Family YMCA just a few miles away. They lifted weights and ran at the facility for almost 2 hours. Once they were all pretty tired out they headed back to their borrowed car (they got it from one of Bridget's kids). The vehicle was so much smaller compared to the moving billboard that they usually drove. It took the turns easier. They didn't even have to worry about little roads. And they didn't have to pull in the mirrors whenever they were parking in cramped spaces. By the time the Pipers got back to Bridget's house it was about 4. Ben began to cook dinner in an actual kitchen, a kitchen with an oven. The Pipers had high hopes for the outcome of the coming screening. In total the Pipers and Lundgrens had about 30 friends coming to the showing. So they already new that a good amount of people were going to show up. Which was a good feeling.
The 3rd St. Cinema was indeed on 3rd St. It was tucked away behind some different stores. But once the Pipers found it they were pleased to see there was already some people lingering around the doors. As well as a decent crowd already inside the screening room. As time inched closer more people arrived and took seats in the theater. The whole middle section up to the first 6 rows was filled. The crowd enjoyed the movie, it made the crowd burst into laughter multiple times. And of course they asked some great questions and bought the Phoenix, Oregon T-shirts.
