The Pipers stayed in the driveway of their friend Bridget's house again last night. In the morning they woke up to the resources of a home. Tara showered and Kim used the washer/ dryer. But not all good things can last. The Pipers refilled their water tank and used the hose to rinse down the Rv. They then said there goodbyes to Bridget and her family, and once again continued their journey. Oakland was less then an hour away. But with traffic and the fact that they were driving an Rv. The drive took over an hour.
As the Pipers were driving they crossed a bridge. If you looked out to the South you could see the outskirts of San Francisco, the skyscrapers jutted out from the land. They were fogged over from the nearby ocean. You could also see the Bay Bridge as it connected Angel Island to San Francisco. The bridge took at least 4 minutes. You could hear the sound of the opposing vehicles as they traveled the opposite way above you. Once off the bridge Daniel began to navigate Ben to the theater. Once parked the Pipers decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. There were a lot of small stores on each block. There was a Ethiopian restaurant just around the corner from the theater. The Pipers ordered some food, in the minutes that they were sitting around waiting Ben came over and introduced his cousin, uncle, and cousin's son to the rest of the Pipers. Their names were, Anne, Charles, and Christian. As the growing group of Pipers headed back to the theater they were surprised when the opened the door.
In front of them was a line that almost opened the door on its own. Once they had worked their way through the line. They entered the theater, inside was about halfway full, not including the incoming line. Instead of movie seats this screening room had couches. Once the movie had started the theater was over halfway full. Next up on the Phoenix, Oregon Movie Tour is Modesto, California. The Pipers will not be attending this screening instead they are going to be getting a early start on the traveling to Arizona. The Pipers will be going through Death Valley, to Zion, and to the Grand Canyon. So stay tuned for those upcoming adventures.
