Our Rv park was in a nice green part of Texas, humid and stuffy but fresh and well kept grass and trees. I took a shower in the morning, and Kim did a load of laundry. Ben and Daniel began working on a road map to post onto the website. Showing the locations we had been to and the ones we were going to. Downside was that the so called fast WiFi was very slow, they tried their best to continue working on their project but with no cell connection and slow WiFi it was hopeless. So they conserved their patience until they had connection.
We would have left then and there but the load of laundry had just gotten out of the washer so we had at least 40 minutes until we could leave. So to kill time we fully dumped the Rv, and talked with the camp host. The dryer was taking much longer then expected, Kim thought it was because the dryer wasn't vented properly. So we waited around for about and hour and still some of the clothes were wet. I had to hang up a few pairs of my jeans so they could fully dry. As we got closer to San Antonio the bars of reception grew until we had full bars. We headed straight to the theater, just in hopes of a good place to work. Sure enough they had a table and some chairs and good WiFi. Ben, Daniel and Kim all worked on their projects, the map was coming along well and they were coming up with more and more great ideas. I worked on booking us a Rv park to stay at tonight.
While we were working one of the main characters in the movie showed up, Jesse Borrego. Jesse lived in San Antonio and was super happy to see all of us again. When he walked in, he lit up the whole room, it was cool to see some people still have that effect on the crowd.
I was getting very hungry so I headed back to the Rv to eat some food. I stuck some beans and pasta in the microwave and turned on the Ac. My food was getting close to be done when Kim came in, she was also hungry so following my example she pulled out the toaster and plugged it in. Everything was going fine until suddenly the Ac, Microwave, and toaster stopped being powered. The generator was still rumbling below us but nothing would be powered. We checked all of the breakers we knew about and all of them were still on. Within seconds the Rv heated right back up again until it was almost unbearable. I headed back to the theater to cool down. When Ben heard about the generator he headed outside to take a look for himself.
He checked the same breakers we did, he read the manual, and turned on and off the power system, and even left the generator running for over 10 minutes to see if it was a charge issue. With no luck he turned to Google. When he searched his issue online a bunch of solutions popped up. Lots of people had experienced the same issue. He watched a video on YouTube and tried the solution they had. Apparently there was a major breaker on the outside of the Rv that we had flipped. He switched this breaker and then once again turned on the generator. We stood there in anticipation waiting for the microwave to beep letting us know things were ready to charge. I almost thought that it wasn't going to work but then 'Beep'. We all let out a sigh of relief, we needed our generator to work and we were glad it still did
My family, The Lungrens, Luis, and Jesse all went out to one of Jesse's favorite Tex Mex restaurants as he called it. Their main dishes were tacos so we all ordered some. It was 7:00 when we were seated and it wasn't till 8 that we got back to the Rv. Phoenix, Oregon was premiering at the Guadeloupe theater at 8:30. So we set up our merchandise table and welcomed the guests. The movie played flawlessly, the crowd were cracked up by Al, like always. The theater was packed, and most of the audience stayed for the Q and A. Shirts and posters were sold, and we got great compliments on our movie. Next up on the Phoenix, Oregon tour is Belton, Texas. The Movie is showing at The Beltonian Theater at 7:00. See you there!
