Newport, Oregon. Today's destination, the Pipers would be showing the well known Phoenix, Oregon Movie to the citizens of Newport. I'm not sure that you are aware, but the Newport beach is absolutely breathtaking, the bright blue waves, the soft pure sand, and this was all in view from the balcony of one of their very own houses, it was being repaired of course but the view was perfect no need to edit this one.
Our family of Pipers are now preparing themselves for the 7:00 showing later that night. They were all very interested to see just how this evening would unravel. In the mean time the Family was heading to the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Where they saw Sea Otters, Sea Lions, Ducks, Jellyfish, crabs, octopus, sharks, and a whole lot of fish.
The showing has finished, The Movie pulled in a small, but enthusiastic crowd. The crowd loved the movie, they were laughing and enjoying the movie the whole way through. Shirts were sold, and reviews were filmed. It was a success in my book.
As The Pipers cuddled themselves up in their blankets later that night their thoughts drifted to the coming day, and what it might hold. Up next on the Phoenix, Oregon national tour is Seaside, Oregon. See you there!
Sounds like you're off to a good start! I didn't realize you had a screening in Florence, or i would have come over. Looking forward to seeing you in Eugene! Every time I say the film is a "midlife crisis coming of age story" the person I'm talking to perks up and looks interested. I think you'll get a great audience here.
