At about 12:00 Am last night, just when most of the Pipers had closed their eyes and were drifting off to sleep there was a loud BANG on the door.
“We’ve had a complaint from the owner of this property, you guys need to move you RV.” The officer spoke in a bossy forceful tone. Their RV was parked on the property of the neighboring land. Ben tried to get the police officers to let them spend the rest of the night in that location, considering the family was leaving bright and early the next day. With no luck, Kim had to climb out of bed and back the RV out of the driveway and drove it to a dead end road a block away. After that they decided to not stay in one parking location more then one evening because no one wants to deal with that at midnight.
By this point the well known wrapped blue RV was heading North on the 101, holding all four Pipers. They had been on the road for a full 3 hours since they had hit traffic and been stuck in construction for a while. Everyone was tired and just wanted to reach their destination, Seaside, Oregon. None of the Pipers had yet swam in the ocean which was a surprise, after all the whole tour had been along the ocean. As the RV swayed and bumped around on the road the ocean came and went behind the trees, fog still hung over the water making it impossible to view the roaring crashing ocean as it splashed the rocks of the cliff below.
As the 7:00 showing in Seaside ended The Pipers were once again happy and pleased with the turnout. People showed up, bought shirts and were filmed for their reactions. Once again the family tucked themselves in for the night in the parking lot of the recent movie showing. Tomorrow was a long day and they needed a good night's sleep to be fully energized for the 2 hour drive across the border to Chehalis, Washington.
Hope you guys got to swim at some point!
